Epe Resort

Wakaholic Family Weekend at Epe Resort

I cannot stress enough the importance of taking some time away from your regular lives to relax, unwind and refresh. It has physical and psychological health benefits. It can help lower your stress level, reduce the risk of heart disease and motivate you to achieve your goals. With this in mind, we planned a summer weekend trip to the beautiful Epe Resort which is located in the ancient little town of Epe in Lagos, South-West Nigeria.

We stayed 2 nights at the stylish Epe Resort and these are some of the fun activities we engaged in.

Barbecue Night

We had the best barbecue meals. The food at Epe Resort is remarkably good. I don’t recall anything I tasted that I didn’t like. And if I don’t remember, it didn’t happen.

The fish was divine- nothing like it.

Movie Night

We saw the movie, a wrinkle in time.

Dance work-out session

The dance work-out session was sponsored by hiitsquadng, a fitness, and wellness service founded by Maje Ayida, a renowned fitness expert.

Address: EDEN STUDIOS. 13B Adebayo Doherty, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

Swimming lessons

We had a swimming coach give first-timers their swimming lesson 101. It was so much fun watching the kids practice swimming.

Baking Session

The baking session was led by emmascakes. It was a participatory session where we learned how to make cupcakes and marble cakes.

Emmascakes has a range of affordable delicious cakes which include red velvet, marble, fruits, vanilla, vanilla-choco, butterscotch among several others. To order, kindly call 08035050370 or send an email to kytemma@gmail.com

Dinner Party

We enjoyed dinner at the poolside before heading to the rooftop bar to dance into the night. The rooftop at Epe Resort is absolutely breathtaking.

Beautiful faces at the Wakaholic Family Adventure

It was a weekend of fun, luxury, networking, and relaxation.

The trip didn’t end without a visit to the popular Epe Fish market where we got amazing bargains on seafood. We do this for the family. 🙂

Deshelling prawns and crabs

I bought 80 pieces of these snails for N5500
