I landed at Dubai International Airport for the first time and joined the queue at the passport control counter. Instead of observing what others were doing so I won’t goof, I was busy looking around in awe.
When it was my turn to register my biometrics, I didn’t know I had to stand at a designated spot and look at the camera. The Arab lady didn’t even help my predicament, because she was screaming with an accent, yet I couldn’t understand what she was saying despite repeating herself 4 times.
Eventually, another colleague pointed at the yellow spot on the floor and beckoned on me to stand there, that is how I got my manual reset… and the long queue of people behind me were just staring at me, wondering what village I came from.
I should have known better. 🙁
😂😂😂

WHENEVER I TRAVEL TO A NEW PLACE, I DO A LOT OF OBSERVATION ON HOW THINGS ARE DONE COS I DONT WANT TO “ACT IDUNG”
