Don’t we just love royalty? Buckingham Palace is the London residence and administrative headquarters of the reigning monarch of the United Kingdom. This stunning palace is located in the City of Westminster, London and has been a focal point for the British people at times of national rejoicing.
The palace has 775 rooms, which include 92 offices, 19 State rooms, 52 bedrooms for royal family and guests, 78 bathrooms, 188 staff bedrooms and a lovely garden with over 350 different species of wild flowers.
The state rooms, used for official and state entertaining, are open to the public each year for most of August and September, and on selected days in winter and spring. Visitors can explore these rooms by purchasing entrance tickets.
