According to Passport Index 2017 travel ranking, Germany has the most powerful passport which was ranked by taking account of visa free and visa on arrival countries passport holders have access to.

Sweden and Singapore come in second and third place with 157 Countries each. However, Sweden ranks higher because 123 of the 157 destinations are completely visa-free compared to Singapore which is 122. Visa free destinations rank higher than visa on arrival destinations.

  1. I’m sad! Even Cameron, Ghana, Guinea ranked higher than Nigeria. I thot we had 44 entries before? When did it reduce to 41?

    1. Visa policies change often. I noticed the list didn’t include Burundi, Benin, Gambia, Georgia, Mauritius, Nauru and Sri Lanka (as visa free/visa on arrival destinations for Nigerian passport holders) but included Cambodia, Lebanon, Rwanda and St Kitts & Nevis.
