Bab’s Dock is a beautiful European styled restaurant tucked away at the edge of the lagoon in Cococodji (11km from Cotonou). Almost everything at this charming lake house is made of local wood.
The property can be accessed either by road or by boat which takes guests through the thick mangrove, with an access fee of CFA2500 per person. Payment covers the car park and boat ride.
After a hectic road trip from Lagos, Nigeria through Seme Border, this place provided the peace and calm required for a mental reset. The food was delicious, the music calming and the scenery perfect.
I would definitely recommend Bab’s Dock to anyone visiting Cotonou.
Beautiful! Mma ndia I see you! 😂
