It’s Day 2 in Las Vegas and i have a lot to share. Vegas is a DREAM!!! The good news is, this dream is real and you can live and reminisce on it for the rest of your days. There is so much excitement and energy in this city that will make you fall in love with it over and over again.
What did i do today?
First, i explored Downtown Vegas, the historic center and original gambling area of Las Vegas. No visit to Vegas is complete without exploring the exciting activities centered around Fremont Street, Fremont Street Experience and Fremont East.
Our first stop was a restaurant called ‘Heart Attack Grill’, a hospital themed restaurant with waitresses dressed as nurses and customers robed in hospital gowns before ordering meals. Customers who fail to finish their burgers are spanked by their nurses. Also, customers who weigh over 160kg can eat for free if they weigh in with a nurse before they order their meal. The restaurant has an exciting menu with single, double, triple and quadruple Bypass hamburgers. So you think you can eat?
Next, we explored Fremont Street Experience and Fremont East.
Next stop was Bellagio Resort & Casino, an Italian inspired themed resort which is across the street from Paris Las Vegas. The resort has an interesting water show that runs every half hour in the afternoons and every 15 minutes at night.
Then we walked the strip and got discounted tickets (we paid $19.95) to visit Madame Tussauds, a wax museum at The Venetian Las Vegas which included the Marvel Super Heroes 4D. This part of the adventure (the movie) should not be missed. It last about 15 minutes and is well worth every second.
Next stop was the Venetian Resort & Casino, a Venice-inspired resort with a massive shopping area and artificial canals with gondola rides. We had the famous gelato (Italian style ice cream) at the resort. Lawd!!! This resort is one of the most beautiful places i have ever been to. I was completely blown away by the beautiful ceilings painted to look like the sky with moving clouds.

Then we walked to the Mirage, a Polynesian-themed resort with an artificial volcano.
Our final stop for the day was The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace.
For Day 3, I hope to make it to the Vegas sign at the end of the Strip, explore other resorts on the Strip and see a show. And if time permits, we may rent a car and explore the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam.
Las Vegas is truly magical!!!
