My Vacation Story by Ivie

Every mom needs a break and I got mine. I took time off work, left the kids with “hubby dearest” and hopped on the plane to the USA for some ‘Me time’. Certainly, I had the time of my life.

I spent time in Los Angeles, California and New York City. While in New York, I had a slice of the big apple with my fab cousin “Osarume”.  We did the open bus tour soaking in the sights and sounds of uptown to downtown Manhattan and ran around Times Square in the evening like 18 year olds. You could also find us representing Brooklyn “The Bronx” to the fullest and I couldn’t leave New York City without a little shopping, so I rounded off the New York leg of my trip with some Midtown Manhattan shopping.

Off to the city of angels “Los Angeles” and my hostess with the mostess was Freda Aloka!! We explored Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, did the star walk in The Hollywood Walk of Fame and bathed in the sun at Santa Monica Beach.
