The trick to getting through life is always having a holiday booked to look forward to.
Honestly, this can be therapeutic. I’m never without a plan. The first step is to secure my leave dates at the beginning of the year and take note of the National holidays. Then I find ways to make my trips happen.
When I start planning for my trips, I usually don’t have the funds readily available. However, I’m able to arrange my affairs in the course of the year to determine what sacrifices I’ll make to achieve my travel goals.
It doesn’t matter if I’m scheduled to travel a year from today; researching, asking questions, viewing photos of my desired destinations and planning for my trips are just as exciting as the trip itself.
On a scale of 1 – 10, how important is traveling to you? For me, it’s a 10 and that is why I take it seriously. If it’s important, you’ll find a way. If it’s not, you’ll find an excuse.
