Sunday April 16, 2017: It was a beautiful day at Tilapia Island Resort (Tilapia Resort), a tourism, leisure and recreational center on the outskirts of the capital city of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Tilapia Resort is located in a calm and serene area surrounded by palm tree vegetation in Abak Local Government Area, about 15 minutes drive from the Capital City of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The Resort has a small river that flows through its boundaries and at our request, management made available canoes for guests who were interested in paddling along the trail. Other facilities include a restaurant, VIP lounge, a stage for events, snooker board for games, huts, children’s play area and a massive car park.
Wakaholic Easter Adventure included a Q&A session where team members addressed trending issues on travel and tourism. We explored mouth watering seafood dishes and were entertained by a DJ on site.
